SUMMARY:

Introduction: School Physical Education's primary objective is to facilitate students' access to the practices of body movement culture. Through it, human beings begin to interact with themselves and others, seeking to communicate and express themselves, through movements, which help them to know and perceive their body, its limitations and its potential, in addition to providing opportunities for the construction of knowledge, fun and leisure. Cooperative games play a role far beyond fun and leisure, as they enable the learning of various skills and are means that contribute to the social, motor, emotional and intellectual development of students. Objective: To analyze, based on pedagogical workshops in School Physical Education classes, the contributions of cooperative games to the comprehensive education of students in the final years of Elementary School at a school in the city of Camocim-CE. As a complementary objective, to design and publish a Book on Cooperative Games and their implications for the final grades of Elementary School. Methodology: It is an action research, which has as data collection instruments: a) Field Diaries, for observations during Physical Education classes; b) Diagnostic Questionnaire; and c) Focus Group, through conversation circles, guided by a systematized script for diagnosing the contributions and impact of the experiences of cooperative games for the students researched. The teacher-researcher, through the pedagogical workshops on cooperative games, encouraged experiences that students relate to cooperative games and will analyze their contributions to the integral development of the subjects. Parcial Results: The results, both from the questionnaire and the Focus Group, showed that students enjoy participating in Physical Education classes. They are motivated by inclusive and cooperative activities characterized by the absence of winners. Also, it was observed in the students' responses that at times, they had already witnessed disharmonious conduct or fights among their peers and attitudes of exclusion in Physical Education classes, notably due to the predominance of the selective nature of the activities, in which the least skilled students were excluded or excluded from its development, generating feelings of discouragement, anger, lack of motivation and sadness among the students.  Educational Resource: The book 100 Cooperative Games for School Physical Education classes in Elementary School is a proposal of methodological tool for the intervention and development of motor, cognitive, affective and social skills, through activities that can be carried out in Physical Education classes, as well as in other educational moments. Partial Conclusions: With the answers noted and the discursive set produced in the focus group, it was concluded that the practice of cooperative games in School Physical Education classes promotes an integral education with characteristics of development of motor, cognitive, affective aspects and the construction of values associated with solidarity and social integration. Present in the Physical Education classes of the students studied, cooperative games were welcomed with motivation and resulted in positive narratives about their practice at school.
