AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONS AND PERMANENCE OF BLACK SHAREHOLDERS AT THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF PIAUÍ: an analysis from the management point of view

For the qualifying exam, a proposal for the first chapter of the dissertation will be presented. In this first chapter, we will carry out a state of the art on politics and affirmative action. To do this, we will initially address the concept of affirmative actions, exploring the perspectives of researchers and their aspects and contributions to the topic. The second topic will be dedicated to the analysis of policies and affirmative actions. In the first subtopic, we will list and analyze the norms of anti-racist legislation of the 20th century, including constitutional articles, decrees, international treaties and other laws, based on current realities. We will also list and analyze the standards of anti-racist legislation in the 21st century. In the second subtopic, we will address policies and affirmative actions, focusing on racial quota policies in universities and the job market. The third topic, we will analyze the academic production on affirmative action in Brazil, covering the period from 2016 to 2024. After the research, we will examine which regions have produced the most studies and observe possible gaps in the existing literature. Based on this survey, we will carry out a detailed analysis of some knowledge productions, reflecting on the works and highlighting the contributions of each one to our dissertation production.
